Shipping and Delivery Policy for Divine Ideas Flower Shop

We understand how important every order is to you, and it is equally important to us. Our goal is to delight our customers with stunning flowers and exceptional service. Flowers are a delicate, perishable product, and floral arrangements are crafted by hand, so we make every effort to ensure the quality, accuracy, and beauty of every order. While certain factors, like flower lifespan or design preferences, can vary, we strive to continually improve the performance of our floral products. Your feedback is always welcome to help us better serve you. If you are not satisfied with your order, please contact us immediately so we can address the issue promptly.

Delivery Policy

Holiday Orders
Delivery hours may vary during major holidays. To ensure your flowers are delivered on time during these busy periods, we recommend placing your order at least one day in advance for holidays such as:

  • Valentine’s Day
  • Easter
  • Administrative Professionals Day
  • Mother’s Day
  • Father’s Day
  • Good Friday
  • Labor Day

Same-Day Delivery

  • Orders placed before 2:00 PM in the recipient's local time (Monday-Friday) are eligible for same-day delivery.
  • For orders outside our local area, same-day delivery may require placement before 12:00 PM.
  • Saturday same-day deliveries should be placed by 12:00 PM.

Delivery Timeframes

  • While we cannot guarantee exact delivery times, we strive to deliver within a four-hour window. You can request a preferred time in the special instructions box during checkout, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
  • Typical delivery times:
    • Businesses: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
    • Residences, Hotels, Hospitals: By 5:00 PM
    • High Schools: By 2:00 PM

Weekend Deliveries

  • If Sunday delivery is unavailable, we may deliver on Saturday instead. If neither option is possible, the order will be scheduled for Monday. You will be notified of any changes in advance.

Funeral Deliveries

  • Deliveries to funeral homes are a top priority. We verify service and viewing times to ensure timely delivery. If an order is placed too late for a service, we will notify you promptly to discuss alternate options, such as delivery to the family's residence.

Address Accuracy

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate recipient information. If an incorrect address is provided, a $10 fee will be charged to correct and reattempt delivery.

If Recipient Is Unavailable

  • If the recipient is not home, the delivery may be left in a secure location or with a neighbor. A notification will be left to inform the recipient of the delivery.

Special Requests

  • Requests to leave arrangements at an unattended location (e.g., porch, doorstep) are accepted at the customer’s risk. Divine Ideas Flower Shop is not responsible for lost or damaged arrangements under these circumstances.

Recipient Refusal

  • If the recipient refuses the delivery, the customer remains responsible for the full cost of the arrangement.

P.O. Boxes

  • We are unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes or A.P.O. addresses.

Canceling Orders

  • Same-day orders are processed immediately and cannot typically be canceled. For orders not yet processed, please contact us at (956) 287-0303 as soon as possible to make changes or cancellations.

Card Messages

  • Your message will appear exactly as written in the Card Message field. No billing details are included with the delivery.

Taxes and Pricing

  • Applicable sales tax will be displayed during checkout.
  • Many arrangements are available in Regular, Deluxe, or Premium sizes with corresponding upgrades.

Substitution Policy

  • Flowers: In some cases, substitutions of equal or greater value may be necessary due to seasonal or regional availability. We make every effort to maintain the style, color, and overall appearance of the arrangement.
  • Balloons: Substitutions may occur where latex balloons are restricted (e.g., hospitals). Mylar balloons will be provided instead.
  • Plants: Similar plants of equal or greater value may be substituted if the requested plant is unavailable.
  • Gift Baskets: Certain items may be replaced with items of equal or greater value to ensure freshness.
  • Special Occasions: Substitutions may be made to ensure timely delivery for occasions such as funerals or birthdays if specific flowers are unavailable and we cannot reach you for approval.
